Hello. I have 70,000 countif cells down a column. I'm trying to delete them all because they bog down excel. I turned automatic calculations off but everytime I try to delete it freezes excel. This doesn't seem super taxing. Any ideas how to get it to stop freezing?
Try copy paste values on your column before deleting it.
My General Rules if you want my help. Not aimed at any person in particular:

That freezes it too haha
If you use a macro there are a few other things you could do to speed up the process.

I ended up just starting over on the file, but that's good advice with the macro. I'll try that next time excel gets bogged down. Thanks.
