All formulas mysteriously stopped working

Hello Everyone. I have a spreadsheet that has great formulas in it to track a process. It worked for a while and now none of the formulas work. All the formulas appear to be where they are supposed to and they do not appear to have changed. This is the way it worked.

A value was entered in column C
Value in column C appeared in Column I by default
Value in column C moved from column I to J if column G =yes
Value in column C moved from column J to K if a date was entered in column H
Value always remained in C

This was a very helpful sheet until it stopped working. Pulling up earlier versions of the sheet does not help. It seems something universal is causing this sheet to not work. I got the formulas for this sheet from a helpful member. I hope some one can assist in reviving this sheet. I have included the sheet for reference. All help will be greatly appreciated.

Check if your calculation has been set to manual.

Press F9 and if everything suddenly springs to life then you need to turn calculation to automatic.

I tried F9. It added a number to a cell but did not vacate the previous cell. Also I could not figure out how to turn on automatic recalculation. It is not listed on the help topics. Still stuck.

When I opened your file auto calculation was off.

I use Excel 2010 and in that version the option can be found under "Formulas / Calculation Options" on the Ribbon.
I don't know if it will be the same in your version I'm afraid.

Yes. I just found where to do it. In Formulas I clicked on calculation options and turned on automatic calculations. Unfortunately that did not solve it. It is still stuck.

Hi BSB. OK. I think I fixed it. changing to auto in the formula bar did not help. I went into File/Options/Formulas and found a field that lets you select between Auto and manual. It was set to manual. I set it to automatic and hit OK. The problem appears to be solved. Thanks for responding. I will add to your reputation and mark this solved. Thanks again...Steve

That's what happened. Only after did I turn on auto in the Options tab did the sheet return to life.

Now how do I mark this thread as solved?
