Conditional formatting for a row based on one cell

I am trying to use conditional formatting to highlight cells three colors. If a cell is greater than 0, it is dark green. If a cell is less than 0 and greater than the threshold, then it is light green. If a cell is less than the threshold, then it is red. Because of the order of the conditions, if the threshold is positive, then there should be no light green cells.

The problem I am having now is that some cells that should be light green are red. In the example workbook I attached, I have highlighted what the colors should be.

    Hi hagamablabla ,

Your problem is that you haven't made C2 absolute in your Conditional Format.

Change it to $C$2 and it will work.

Note: When you go into the [B]Enter[B] box - click F2 once - this will change the Enter to Edit (see bottom left corner of your Excel screen).

I hope this helps, please let me know!

    Regards,

    David

Thank you, I had thought that not having a $ would make the value absolute.
