    Filtering to Ignore Specific Rows

    Good morning everyone,

I have a spreadsheet to organise promotional activity for our customers, organised by month. I have divider rows to separate each month to make the spreadsheet easier to read, but as you can probably guess, this doesn't work too well with filtering.

Is there a way to force excel to ignore these rows? See below image example, row 408.

    Thanks,
    Dom

You get better help on your question if you add a small excel file, without confidential information.

Please also add manualy the expected result in your file.

Select 76 and blanc in your filter.

See the attached file for the result.

    and with a helpcolumn.

Then you also have to filter on the helpcolumn with the criteria show.

    =IF(SUMPRODUCT(($J$4:$J$1000=$J114)*($K$4:$K$1000=$L$1))=0,"hide","show")

    See the attached file.
