    Lightbulb Percentage & Formatting

    Hi Guys,

I have an excel spreadsheet, however I require some assistance with regards to formatting flowrate percentage to 0%

I have a value called Deadband - This is percentage based.

So deadband means no flow between 0% to percentage set by deadband.

So if Dead band is 20%, and Maximum Flow is 180 litres, then the dead band is 20% of 180. Thus the table must show this as 0%. After the dead band then flow must be calculated according to the table.

Any assistance please? Seems confusing... may have confused myself..hahaha

    yes confusing

can you show on the spreadsheet

    currently deadband = 25

Are we working out the deadband value ?
    OR
are we using the value in deadband and using that for other values

We are using the deadband value that will be inserted.

The deadband value will effect the Flow column.

    Re: Percentage & Formatting

    OK - so 25 means 25%

What would you expect the results in that column to be
D3 currently has a formula showing the value of 180

do you want 25% of that value
    so X by 0.25
    or reduce by 25% ??

    Re: Percentage & Formatting

    So...

row 23 is a neutral point.

So going from row 23 up\down 25% Deadband must be calculated up until 25% of Maximum Flowrate. Once Deadbad is calculated, then the D column formula must start calculating flow.
