I have a lot of cells that have names (text) in them.
They all look normal, untill i put the cell in editmode (f2), then an ' appears infront of the word, if I delete it, it appears again when I press enter.
How do I remove this from all my cells?

Copy a blank cell then select the whole data which cells contain ' and then right click press S->S-D then Ok.

Can't be removed - added by Excel to indicate the cell is left aligned. Center align the cell and it'll change to a '^'
Can you please upload a sample file once here ???
