    Rolling 365 day calendar

Im trying to create an employee Tracking Calendar for absences and such. I'm using the Excel Template (heavily modified) and the only thing Im stuck on is the actual calendar part. The current formula is pulling 365 calendar days BY YEAR rather than TODAY - 365 days, and it must reflect 365 days back from todays date for negative point roll off. I've scoured the inter-webs and I'm stymied. The current formula is:

    =SUMIFS(tblLeave[Points],tblLeave[Employee Name],valSelEmployee,tblLeave[Start Date],">="&DATE($AN$5,1,1),tblLeave[End Date],"<"&DATE($AN$5+1,1,1))

and its just not cutting it. HELP!

    Welcome to the Forum rpetty!

The formula doesn't mean anything out of the context of your data. Can you attach your file to show how it's set up?

    To attach a file:
    1. Under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button.
    2. In the next screen look above the reply box and click the "paper clip" icon. You will get a pop-up screen.
    3. In the pop-up, click Add then Select to select a file from your local drive
    4. Click the Upload button to upload the file
    5. Click Done to attach it.

It will be displayed as an attachment underneath your post text. Alternatively as the last step you can click the Insert Inline button and a hyperlink to the file will be inserted directly into your post text in the spot where your cursor is set at the moment you click the button.

Here are step-by-step instructions with screen shots

The merged cell "POINTS" on the calendar sheet is the one in question....but in reality all those trackers need to be 365 rolling.

Try this modification of the formula in L26:

If you run the evaluate formula you'll see that it is summing points that occur between today and the same date in the previous year.

You're welcome and thank you for the feedback. If you haven't already please take a moment to mark the thread 'Solved' using the thread tools link above your first post. As for taking only a short time to come up with a solution, I remember working on a similar calendar some time back so I knew something about what I was looking at. I hope that you have a good day.

    Re: Rolling 365 day calendar

    Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I do have the same problem with what I am currently working on. I am building the attendance and adherence tracker in our office and I need the 365 rolling calendar. I'm trying to access the file you attached but I do not have permission. If I can have access please so I'll have an idea how to solve mine.

    Thanks!!!!

Welcome to the forum Kimberlyanne. I don't think that there is anything on this end that would prevent you from accessing the file in post #3. I can only guess that it may be a firewall issue, perhaps at your work, that is preventing the download. Perhaps you could test my theory by trying to download a file from another site, and if that is the issue perhaps you can download the calendar file from another location and e-mail it to yourself at work. Only other thing I can think of is to start a new thread with a title like "Do I need permission to download files?".
