Automatically copy contents of a cell to all worksheets in a workbook

Hi and thank you for helping. (Excel 2010) I have a workbook with three worksheets. Each worksheet has the same first column, with the heading "Name." I type the words "Cloud Array" into the first cell in the "Name" column in worksheet 1. Is there a way to AUTOMATICALLY copy that cell text (Cloud Array) into the corresponding cell in ALL three of the worksheets?

    Hi nrcahill

    Yes

If you hold down shift click tab sheet 1 them tab sheet 3 (assuming they are in order) they will all be highlighted so anything typed or formatted will go across all the sheets, to get back to one sheet then shift and select the tab required.

    Also

If you use control instead of shift you can select the sheets individually.

And, if you've already added data to the first sheet, Use ForestView's method to select the other sheets and , on the Home Tab, to the left of "Sort and Filter", there is a blue arrow pointing down. If you select that, you'll see a dropdown menu. One of the options (which is grayed out unless you've selected other sheets) is "Across Worksheets..." This will copy what you've selected on sheet1 across all other selected sheets.
