Shift Differential for 3 shifts

NEED HELP IN EXCEL!!!

I am working on an excel sheet to calculate shift differentials. I partially have it figured out but I also think I’m way off. I have three shifts
Shift 1 = 6am – 2pm
Shift 2 = 2pm – 10pm
Shift 3 = 10pm – 6am

What I need to happen is to be able to put in the time an employee clocked in and clocked out and the excel calculate how many hours where in each shift.

For Example:
Clocked In: 5:52 AM
Clocked Out: 6:00 PM

Time in 1st Shift: 8.000 Hrs
Time in 2nd Shift: 4.000 Hrs
Time in 3rd Shift: 0.133 Hrs

Is anyone proficient in Excel who can help me out with this. I almost have the formula for first shift, however, if there is no time spent in 1st shift, the equation defaults to 8 hrs, when it should be 0. Here is a link to the file SHIFT DIFF TRIAL.xlsx.
