Unable to calcuate time in excel

Hi All,

I need an excel sheet with a built in macro for which time has to be captured automatically. If I click a cell (A1), then in the cell (B2) current time should get captured. The thing is, whichever cell I click on, the time should get captured only in that corresponding next cell. For eg. if I click on A1, time should get captured only in B1. If I click on A10, then in B10. Since this is a shared sheet, multiple users would be using this. Kindly assist.

Re: Unable to calcuate time in excel

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I tried and found that the above code stops the normal function of the mouse's righ click options. Instead, is there any way to update the time (12 hours format). If I have a drop down as END in cell A1, and if I select that in B1 the time stamp should appear. If another person selects A5, then time stamp in B5 should appear.
Note: The time should not appear no where else apart from the selected area.

Not so. When you right click anywhere, you get a window open up with the cut/copy/paste/paste special etc options
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
