Beginner trying to calculate battery charge and discharge

Hi guys, only posted here a couple of times so sorry for any rule breaking or posting in the wrong areas.
Basically, every half hour, I have a snapshot of what our wind turbine is producing. It is connected to grid and cannot export more than 250kW. Everything over 250 is getting dumped. I am looking at putting this extra power into batteries to use when the turbine is under 250kW.

The goal is to see how much it would export without batteries and how much it will export with the batteries added.

So every time it goes over 250 I have to add how much it is over. (eg if it is at 266 it is 16 over 250 so i need to add 16 to a theoretical battery.) When the turbine is under 250, the 'battery' will discharge to make up the rest to 250kW. Does that make sense? The maximum the battery can hold is 75kW. How do I do this? Just add conditions to each cell? I'm pretty new to conditions etc and not sure where to start. I have added a screenshot to help explain what I am trying to say (i could not upload the file for some reason). I also need to be able to change the turbine to be a 400kW machine and change the size of batteries to calculate the optimal combination

Post a sample file in excel format rather than an image. Images are impossible to edit and nobody wants to recreate the file for you.
Attach a sample spreadsheet with expected results, remove any sensitive data.

Welcome to the forum. Providing that I understand the business model correctly, i.e. you can either store or export but not both during a time interval, I think this solution does what you want. I added a table for cumulative charge (AY2:CT377) on the Battery Charging potential sheet, which could be put on a separate sheet, that is populated with the formula:

Notice I also added a column B on this sheet so as to avoid circular reference warnings on the Battery potential sheet. If you want to change the battery capacity and kW production you'll need to decide on a place in the workbook to put those values and then reference them in the formulas.

Here is a greatly pared down version of the file from the dropbox link in post #1, hopefully it provides enough information to show how the formulas and table work.
