Copy/Paste - remove objects

Hi!
Wondering if there is a way to copy/paste or remove values in a text box so I can use values in a formula.
(for inventory purposes) we don't have an option to export to excel, so my work-around is to copy/paste text from web page right onto excel workbook.
When I copy text from web page, upon pasting, the "object" text boxes are pasted as well, resulting in the inability to reference contents in cells to use in a formula.
Is there away I can paste contents without having the "text box object" pasted also? I just need contents in the text box?
