Spreadsheet looks untidy with #DIV/0! errors

I use an Excel spreadsheet to record my car's fuel consumption. Cells waiting for data but containing copied down formulas display 0s or #DIV/0!. These look very untidy. How can I make this display blank until they receive data?

Check first is D5 different than 0:

    Formula: copy to clipboard

Same for other: whenever you dividing with 0 (or blank) you need to check first is that cell different than 0.

Or you can use IFERROR formula that will hide all errors (not just DIV/0):

    Formula: copy to clipboard
