Timeline Template

On the Calcs sheet if you select column AH and then drag across 236 columns and then click Insert. That will have adjusted the chart ranges,

Now copy AG31:AG72 and paste across to the new last column.

However you'll now find that the new chart is virtually unreadable since the font is now too small.

It's a wizzy timeline which is perhaps too wizzy for practical purposes. Personally for these sorts of things I much prefer to do this sort of stuff in a normal sheet range. Have 365 very narrow columns each of which are headed with dates

In columns to the left put the resource name in one column and the start and end dates in two more columns. Now it's a simple matter to put a conditional format in the 365 cells in a row which are painted a colour if the column header date is between the start & end dates for that row.

I was referring to column AH on the hidden Calcs sheet. At the moment the dates only go up to 10 May 2016. Your requirement was to see all of 2016 which us why you need to add another 236 columns. And the easiest way to do that is to elect the whole of column AH and drag the cursor across another 236 columns and click the Insert button.
