NEWB ActiveX Question

Hello, I'm trying to assign a recorded macro to an ActiveX Control button. (I hope I'm explaining what I need correctly.)

I want an activex button to change the background color of a selected cell(s) when you click it.

You don't 'Assign' a macro to an ActiveX button, you add code to the button Click event.

Add a button to the worksheet then go to the sheet code module, use the dropdown top left to display the events for the button and select the Click event from the deposited on the right.

Could you give me an example of the code? I'm extremely new to excel.

You simply add your macro name.
