Populate column in remote data source from static data.

Hi sorry to be a pain, 2nd question in 2 days.

I have a worksheet (top 10) which gets populated from the web which always changes.

Name | Joined | Activity
Greg | 4/5/14 | (another date)
Billy | 5/4/13 | (another date)

If I have another worksheet which has everyones name in it with another column headings 'Name' + 'Group' which gets manually updated and is static.

Name | Group
Joan | Group1
Mike | Group3
Greg | Group5
Tony | Group1
Billy | Group3

Is it possible to populate a column in the top 10 worksheet with the group next to the correct name?

You can use a VLOOKUP.

In a new column in your "top 10" sheet such as D2:
Assuming Name is Column A
Assuming "Name + Group" is "NameGroup" sheet.

It's not always populating the column

Are you copying the formula down?
If there is any difference in the names it won't work.

The name Greg will not match with Gregg.

Your NameGroup sheet has to have all the names that are on the "(top 10)" sheet.
