    Exclamation Separate year of production

    Hello everybody!

I have a very big database with car specifiactions, including the years of production like this:

    2002-2008
    2008-2013
    2013-2015
    2009-2013
    2013-2015
    2009-2014

As you can see, every value is different, and I need to split them; fill inbetween every year, and separate them with ;.

Example: 2002-2008 - should come back like this: 2002;2003;2004;2005;2006;2007;2008.

    Any advice?

    Thank you in advance!

    crosspost: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-q...roduction.html

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

    Hy!

I'm sorry for the crosspost, the only reason for this is that I want to solve the problem quickly. I am new on both forum, so I guess that they wont allow me to post links. Should I remove my post from the other forum?

No patko15, you don't need to delete other threads.

It's OK to ask on several Forums because we understand that you want get solution quickly.

All we ask is to put links to other threads so we don't need to solve question if it's already answered somewhere else.

You can keep asking questions to keep up busy

You can also use Commercial Services if you have more demanding issue.
