Multiple criteria vlookup with INDEX and MATCH

    Hi,

I am trying to perform a multiple criteria lookup using IDEX and MATCH function.
I have attached the screen shot that shows the formula (I have hidden all other unrelated column), the formula is the same on the whole column-I, seems that this formula only works if both criteria not numbers.
I have tried to change the category of cell format, or copy and paste columnF to another column as value, ... but all to no avail.
    can please help.

    thank you.

Your formula worked fine for me. Perhaps attach your spreadsheet.....there may be another issue.

Might be because I am referencing to a vlookup column. attached is the working file (some column might be loss due to the referencing), to keep it to the original format.

Czeslaw , thanks for the alternative, those working is ok, but those #N/A cells are showing blank.
