    Sharing my spreadsheet?

I just wonder if I have both protected my sheet and hidden the formulas, is it possible for the one who opens my spreadsheet to figure out to see the formulas and do changes on the spreadsheet? I want to make so that no one can change or see the formulas.

    Good morning stockman

If you have set the properties of the cells to "Locked" and "Hidden" and you invoke protection with a password then you are correct : no one will be able to see or amend your formulae without first removing that protection.

    Re: Sharing my spreadsheet?

Your profile says you are using Excel 2013. In which case, I believe that sheet protection is stronger than it was in earlier versions. In the old days, it was relatively easy to remove worksheet protection.

Bear in mind, however, that if you un-protect the sheet and re-protect it, you will be using the weaker worksheet protection.

But, if you're not using 2013, sheet protection is weak.

Thanks. I need to set a password for the protection. This is new for me. I will try to check it out
