COUNTIF (or) COUNTIFS???

I am attempting to create a COUNTIF sytanx with the following criteria:

1. Column F3:F102 = "Y"
(AND)
2. Column G3:G102 = "N"
3. Column G3:G102 = " " ---{blank}

I have started with this argument and am getting the "NAME" error message.

=COUNTIF(AND(F3:F102="Y",G3:G102="N",G3:G102="")

Is this better suited in a COUNTIFS argument? Any ideas?
