I get the error when the workbook first opens after downloading it from the forum, but other than that it works fine.

Changing cell selection, no errors. Close file and open it again from excel file menu, no errors.

Click the link to download again from the forum, error occurs.

Maybe in certain conditions, the code triggers before the sheet is active, calling a shape that doesn't exist could trigger the error.

Hi Jason,

yes the error would trigger in some situations, that's why i Opened the thread, I was not sure what was triggering it.

May be I will just use a button instead to show the shape

I've been trying to cause errors in other situations with no luck, but did find that it is the wrong error for a missing shape, so we can eliminate that as the cause.

Try changing ActiveSheet to Me and see if it errors then.

Hi Jason,

the problem was the activesheet, so I changed it to ME,and so far no problems.

I found out when I hid the current work sheet that's when it triggered the error,
