Automatically transfer information from one sheet to another (province specific)

Hello,

I am all new to excel and I am trying to get information from sheet 1 to automatically transfer to the appropriate sheet. In sheet 1, I have listed various organizations by provinces. I have created an additional sheet for each province. I would like all the information from sheet 1 to transfer to the appropriate sheet. For example, if I write Ontario in sheet one, all the information associated to that will transfer to sheet 5 (titled Ontario).

Is this possible in excel?

Yes of course it's possible. The question is, is it necessary to have a sheet for every province when a data filter could populate a template sheet with the details for a particular province that you might select from say a drop down list of provinces?

You might also consider a Pivot Table with a Slicer for the Province field. This would offer you as much flexibility as your ever likely to need and be much simpler.
