Hi,
I would appreciate if you could give me a command that lets me view the date as YYYY.MM ( 1990.01) in the column as well the tab when i double click it.
Thank you

If it's a date, it's a date. What is displayed is dependent on the formatting BUT the underlying value is a number representing the number of days from 00/01/1900, that is, 01/01/1900 is represented by a 1.
If it doesn't look like a date in the formula bar (when formatted as a Date) it is not a date. And, if it looks like a date when the cell is formatted as General, it is not a date.

Hello, thank you for the quick reply. It does show as a date, but, I can remove year from the data and not the day of the week. Is it possible to edit my data in a way that i view only month and year in the format YYYY.MM without day appearing in the formula bar?
Thank you
No, not as far as I am aware. You could switch off the formula bar so it doesn't show anything.
