Count number of cells in a table based on value and cell fill colour

Hi,

is there a way to count the number of cells in a table based on the value of the cell and also the fill colour of the cell?

Your question lacks detail. The short answer is Yes. However, it will need VBA. Can you be specific and post a sample spreadsheet (Go Advanced / Manage Attachments)?

I am creating a table that I can input the job number the lads are working on and then distinguish between being on site or in the shop by fill colour.

I want to be able to count the number cells the job number is referenced and the fill colour so I can calculate the number of hours of the job spent on site and how many in the shop.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
