    Unique Values

    Hi everyone,

I have a spreadsheet whereby I'm trying to work out the Per Capita values based off Cost Centres. Currently, I'm using sumif to workout the totals of the cost centres within the raw data to work out the PC. But I want these values to appear in the raw data once per cost centre listed so I can use the info within a pivot table. Any idea how this can be done?

    Please see attached sample.

Raw: Require the per capita data calculated on the 'Unique' tab to appear in the PC column but only once per cost centre listed (so I can use sum within a pivot table).
Uniques: Per capita calculated here based on all the unique cost centres.

    Thanks for any help!
    Mike

Your explanation wasn't that clear!! So I have no clear idea if this is what you want:
    Raw column J:
    =SUMIFS(Uniques!C:C,Uniques!A:A,Raw!F3)

    Raw column K:
    =SUMIFS(Uniques!E:E,Uniques!A:A,Raw!F3)

    Re: Unique Values

    Hi Glenn,

    Thanks for the response

Sorry it's a little hard to explain. So effectively, I've summed up all the Total Spend of each cost centres and worked out the per capita on the uniques tab.

From there, I want to pull the data back to the raw tab to use in a pivot table as I need all my data on the one page (raw tab). So in the raw tab, as you can see there are multiples of each cost centre.

What I need is to pull the Per Capita data from the unique tab into raw data table but only once for each appearance of the cost centres so when I pivot and sum it will give me ($15/$7 etc).

    Re: Unique Values

Ok. I'm STILL not clear what you want. I left it for a while, in the hope that inspiration would strike; but I can't follow your explanation. So, on sheet RAW, please show EXACTLY what your result should look like, indicating WHICH COLUMNS in raw are to updated/created with information brought across from uniques.

    Basically, mock-up your desired result.
