    Missing column?

    I just noticed that there is no "Y" column in a particular spreadsheet (see attached screen shot). Might anyone know why?

    It's hidden (note the thicker line between the columns): select columns X and Z, right-click, unhide.

    Entire columns, or rows can be hidden, but not individual cells.

    If you just want to hide the contents, change the font colour to match the fill colour, or use a custom format of ;;;

    Good to know. Is there a way I can "lock" individual cells from accidental editing?

    Yes, you can protect them
