    How to fix selectable thickness

I updated to a high DPI monitor, and now the thickness of everything in excel is too slim to be easily selected. I cannot grab a selected cell border, to move or copy it. Is too sensible.

żIs there any register to enlarge the thickness of selected cells, or other selectable objects in the interface? (for example, column width, lines on charts, or the border of the formula window, which I enlarge to write multi line formulas)

Not sure this will be of any help,
but you could simply Format the sheet/area with thicker lines.

Select the area/sheet you want to format,
on the Ribbon select Home Tab,
    Select Format,
Select Format Cells, at bottom of popup,
    Select the Border Tab,
On the left of the window under Style, select the thick line
On the right side under Presets select middle box labeled Outline
In the Border Box, just below, click in the center horizontal and
vertical axis, so it shows four cells.
    Click OK

    See if that is helpful.

No, I need to do things like double clicking the rectangle at the lower right corner of the active cell. It is not related to cell format.

The problem is that at high DPI, is extremely hard to aim the mouse cursor to the rectangle or cell border.

There must be a way to change the size of the collision region, either in Excel or on the entire Windows.

You can try changing your mouse settings so they are less sensitive.

Instead of barely touching the mouse moving it across the whole screen you can make it so you actually have to move the mouse.

Another option is to change the mouse cursor to always be the precision cursor which looks like +

This helps you to "aim" better. There's also a magnifying option on most computers, where it opens a separate window that actually magnifies what your cursor is over. It helps with certain precision clicking.
