    Wanting to generate invoices from rows of excel data

    Hi All,

    I come in times of desperate need and I'm not sure if this is the correct category within which to place this...

    Without going into the history of 'why', I need to generate quite a number of invoices, approx 5000+ for orders I have taken over time.

    Now I have all the sales data available or rather can prepare it in rows. So basically I would have a file that would look like this;

    Order Number : Purchase Date : Buyer Name : Product : Currency : Item Price : Shipping : Shipping Address: Shipping City: Bill Address : Bill City

    And so on. The file would have a heading row and then data in rows a little like above.

    I wanted to know if there was anyway and my knowledge of excel is very limited, so forgive any misuse of terminology, that I could write some formula or macro (not that I have any experience of these things), that would allow excel to auto generate an invoice for every row and provide a sequential invoice number for each invoice?

    I'm kinda desperate to get this done as I have a very small window and would even be willing to pay someone for their help, if such a solution is possible and outside my scope of understanding.

    In short, please help!

    You don't need code for that, have a look at mail merges in Word
