Hello. I tried to use a match formula (A1, $A$1:$A$400000,0) to find the missing values between a larger/smaller list but it makes excel freeze up. Any alternatives?

maybe use countif against your larger list. something like =COUNTIF($A$1:$A$400000,B1)
where B1 is your smaller list value (substitute as needed).

Sort col A ascending and use
=lookup(b1, $a$1:$a$400000) = b1
Correct the reference to use the actual range, or use a dynamic range.
