Automate calculations on a database

Hi,

I'm trying to create a spreadsheet to determine which combination of items from a database gives the most efficient result when run through a particular set of formulas.

Currently I can manually type the name of the items and it will look up the data and give me a score, but I want it to automatically run the calculations for every possible combination of items within the database and list the results.

Sorry if that's not that clear. Any suggestions?

I want to find which combination of 4 data items (2 in cat a, 2 in cat b) are going to give the most efficient result in the 'adjusted' averages.

So I want to automate the process of having all possible combinations from the data sheet entered in I4, I5, I7 & I8, and have the corresponding results in E8 & E9 listed

Any 4 of the items in the database can be used to 'adjust' the original figures (ie be entered into I4, I5, I7 & I8)
