Automatically transferring rows from a master list to sub lists (in another sheet)

Hi I am hoping someone can help...

I have a list of tasks which need to be completed and I have multiple sheets which I manage these with (and the lists are too large to keep managing from multiple sheets).

What I am wanting to do is to have one list (with the same headings for each) and subject to one field it would also show that row on another sheet.

    i.e.

Task 1, System Telephony, Issue xxxxx.
Task 2, System CAD, Issue xxxx.
    Task3, System Telephony, Issue xxxx.

I would like sheet 1 to show all Telephony system issues and sheet 2 to show all CAD related issues.

Does anyone know how I can do this at all?

I would not recommend multiple sheets. You can still get what you want right on the main single sheet.

    1) Highlight the row1 headers
    2) Turn on the Data > Filter
    3) Use the column B drop down to select a single value, like System Telephony

You are now looking at exactly what you would see in a separate sheet, those rows only, all other rows are hidden away. You can edit, print, whatever you were going to do with the separate sheet, but far less plumbing this way.

Filter again for a different value, or show all. Very handy and simple.
