Row and Column Formatting

Hi,

I'm trying to format data that has been copied into Excel. I copied it in, and it all goes in one cell, so I separated it into columns using "Text To Columns". However, it is all still in one row, but I need it in several rows and columns.

E.g.

Date Time Item Price Location Date Time Item Price Location Date Time Item Price Location

Whereas I need it

Date Time Item Price Location
Date Time Item Price Location
Date Time Item Price Location

I have thousands of columns of data, how can I quickly move it across. I tried transpose, but this moves it all into one columns and rows, rather than 5 columns and rows.

How can I solve this? Thanks.

welcome to the forum

What format is the original file?
(If it's a text file, there are other ways to import the data that may be better than copy/paste)

Can you attach the original file for us - please do not if the contents are confidential

Hi, welcome to the forum

Instead of copy/paste, try importing
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
