Post Problem about editing many spreadsheet.

    Hello all member!
I have a workbook with about 60 worksheets. They all have the same column headings. I wrote formulas in 3 columns on sheet 1, copied them down the rows, then started copying and pasting them into the corresponding columns in the other sheets. At the time, I didn't know there was a better way to do it. But here's the mystifying part: after I repeated this five times, each time I went to another worksheet, the formulas were already there! And they extended down the rows until the last entry, which was a different number of rows in each sheet. THAT'S AWESOME!! But I can't find an explanation of how that works. I found instructions to ctrl-click on each tab, or to click the first tab and shft-click the last tab, but I hadn't done either of those things. What is this amazing magic called??

    Thanks a lot!

Are you suuuuureee you didn't have multiple worksheets selected?

If you can be more specific about the steps to replicate I can help further. For now look at the support article for auto-fill and consider if you might have had multiple spreadsheets selected (it's easy to do and the only indication is the look of the tab button).

Do you perhaps have Tables in those sheets?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
