Pivot Table: Difference between Two Months.

Hello friends! Hope all is well!
I need your kind help please.

The rawdata (top) in the attachment here, has company names repeated in every month.
I am trying to make a pivottable that looks like the table (below) and showing the difference of two months for every column.


Please help me! thank you so much in advance!

Hi,

After Inserting your Pivot Table, put Year, Month and Name in the Row Labels.
Select either Nov or Oct in the Month column, then select Calculate Item under the Fields, Items, & Sets.
A box will appear to Insert Calculated Item in "Month".
Change the name to DIFF. In the formula area enter "= November - October". Then hit Add, OK.
The populate the rest of the pivot table.

Hope that makes sense and works for you.

thank you! but I was hoping to make the pivottable directly from the above database. the 2nd table is to show the end result (what the pivottable should look like). How to do it on "Show value as" "Difference From"?

The Pivot Table I provided is using the first set of data. The explanation I provide explains how to achieve it.
My apologizes for not being able to explain it well enough. However, it doesn't have anything to do with "Show value as" "Difference From".

Pivot Tables are a bit tricky and a pain to manipulate.
