Don't move or size with cells not working!

Hi guys,

Not sure if someone can assist me with the below.

I have 5 images which are located in Sheet 1 in the range F5 to H8. With each image I have assigned a macro and everything seems to work fine. Moreover I have set the properties to 'don't move or size with cells' for each image.

the only problem I have is with one of the macros whose function is to clear advanced filters:

Problem

Every time I run this macro it is resizing all the 5 images and moving them around even though I have set the properties of each image to 'don't move or resize with cells'.

Is there a possible solution to stop the images from being moved around and resized when this macro is executed?

Hi Keibri,

Unfortunately, I think you may have stumbled upon a feature of Excel, that provides unanticipated consequences.

I have see these symptoms before when a Control (or image) is on a Sheet and rows/columns are hidden and then unhidden.

The workaround I have used is to save the Names, Top, Left, Height, and Width of the images. When the Macro is executed, restore the parameters of the image that are not the same as the saved value for that parameter. To make this job easier, whenever I create a workbook with controls (images) that may be corrupted, instead of creating the controls manually, I use a macro to create them. That way I know ahead of time what the parameters are that I want to restore.
