Excel freezing

Hi - does anyone else have issues with excel freezing? I'll be merrily working on something and then all of a sudden I can't click into a cell or do anything with it. I can close down using the X in the corner and luckily it does ask if I want to save it, and this seems to work, then I can restart Excel and get working again. When this happens, if I have more than one spreadsheet open then the other seem to "white out". It's been happening a while, and I think probably since I started using 2013.

I too have this issue. I can't say what causes it as it happens seemingly randomly and I can't offer a solution as I don't know myself - I put up with it because I've never yet lost work to the issue, just click where the red X should be, say yes to save, restart Excel and carry on where I left off.

This too started when we moved to Excel 2013. You'll be pleased to know that when we moved to Excel 2015 the issue persisted and last week we moved to Excel 2016 and exactly the same thing happened to me again this morning. Sorry I can't tell you how to fix it, but you're in great company!
