Conditional Formatting for a complete ROW

Hi,

I am trying to apply a conditional formatting to highlight a complete ROW in a specific color, if my condition meets.

For example.

If the result of the student is PASS, then the row with student details need to be in green or any other colour ?

Can any one help ? I need to do this is conditional formatting....please.. Thanks

Kind Regards
Mani

Hi Shadmani,

I don't have access to Excel 2003 but you should be able to highlight the Cells in the Row you want to Format & then add the formatting.

So, can you highlight the Cells & then go to Conditional Formatting to apply your rule?

Let me know how you go.
Remember you are unique, like everyone else

Not advisable to use Conditional Formatting on an entire row, it could slow your file down. Rather, just use CF on the range you need.

1. highlight the range you want to apply the conditional formatting to
2. on the home tab, styles, select CF
3. select new rule, select use formula
4. enter =$A2="PASS"...format fill GREEN

Assuming you have PASS in A2 - adjust as needed
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
