I have a pivot table generating a slicer called "Slicer_Lag2". I need the value selected in the slicer to be displayed in a normal cell for use in a separate formula. Does anyone have a solution for me? Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum.
You could put the field in question also in the Report Filter area of the field list so that it appears in the row a couple of rows above the PT. Then simply link your formula cell to that PT cell.
There's no doubt some VBA code that could interrogate the slicer and do it but the solution above is probably the simplest.

Hi Richard, thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I can't include this as a field in the pivot table because I do not want the field to appear in my linked pivot chart. If you have a way around this, I am all ears!
Hi,
Put the following procedure in the Sheet Calculate event. Change the ref. to A1 as appropriate
