    Date formatting on user form

My userform2 was working great untill I put some code in on worksheet selection change. Now when double click on an item in the list box it brings it down to the textboxs and the date looks good but when I make an edit then click the edit button it changes the format of the day in my worksheet "Calendar Items" from dd/mm/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy. I have tried formatting in the code for the edit button and in my on worksheet change event but that does not seem to work. What have I missed
