I need formula in vba
my spread sheet is like
in column 1 name, column 2 amount, column3, currncy like usd or euro (in word not sign),in column4 amount2,column5 curruncy5. and so on, now i need formula to sum all usd and all euro separably, under the title of usd and euro
pls help
Edit I neglected to read your profile. SUMIFS is not available in Excel 2003.
SUMIF might handle it or other functions.
Does it need to be VBA? SUMIF(S) should handle this. Can you upload a small representative sample of what you are working with? Be sure to remove any sensitive data.

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"
Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
