Filtered dropdowns in table, based on adjacent cells value

    Hello!

I have a problem. I try to make dropdownlists based on values in a Master table to make filling out the weekly time report easier for my Project members.
This is my (or a mockup of my) tbl_Master
    tbl_Master.png

    This is my weekly report:

My team members fill in their names (dropdown) and the week cell is filled based on todays date.

    My challenge is this:
    • How can I get a dropdown list in the Project cells containing the different active Projects in tbl_Master (without duplicates)?
    • How can I get a dropdown list In the Block cells with the Blocks, but only with the active blocks available in the tbl_Master (without duplicates), for the chosen Project in the same row?
    • After that the Time code cells will be filled automatiacally based on the corresponding value in tbl_Master. But how?

Does anyone have a clue how to do this. I've tried Name manager and pivot tables, but nothing really does is. My present solution is one table per Project, but it is to hard to maintain. A master table would be so much easier!!!
Please help me, it would save me looks of time!!

    Kind regards,
    Styhr

Dear Styhr. Refer attach file. I have created dropdown list (unique) of project, block & time code.

Re: Filtered dropdowns in table, based on adjacent cells value

    Dear avk
Thank you for your help. However it didn't solve the problem. I must be able to fill in new valus into the master table, and they'll automatically be included in the dropdowns. Also, there is a dependency between the Projects and Blocks stated in the tbl_master, that should be shown in the dropdowns, ie only the active blocks available for a certain Project should be in the dropdown. The Time code shown must be correct for the choosen Project/block-pair.
