multiple info searchable or filterable in column

hi guys

im just after some heads up from you more knowledgeable guys please.
I have some football data that i collect and am looking to expand it ( see pic)
obviously each team starts with 11 players and i would like to put these 11 players into column x and y dependant on who the home team is.
I wish to be able to filter this information but cannot see a way of doing this without having 11 rows with the same data in columns a to w and putting a name in x and y

so for example if in the example arsenal in column x would read cech, bellerin,monreal etc etcand i would be able to filter this info

all help gratefully received

ive tried alt and return but if i try to filter it the option is cechbellerin
rather than being able to filter just cech for example
