Scrollable Data Validation in excel 2010

Hi,

I have a few lists and all done by data validation to choose the option nothing crazy or mad there.

But what does drive me bonkers, is the inability to scroll down said list

Have looked at this and have seen mentioned combo boxes but can’t seem to fathom this out

Is there a simple solution which can be done by a dunce like me?

just click on slider of a list. In 2013 it works fine.

That would be great but I’m running excel 2010

The example attached is just a simple illustration I have a list like this and would like to be able to scroll through it using the mouse

Two methods that are mentioned by members
NBVC: "Click the cell with the drop down menu, then point to the up or down arrow at the right and scroll with your mouse wheel."
Ron Coderre: "ALT+DownArrow...to display the list, PageUp, PageDown, ArrowUp, ArrowDown to navigate"
I tested both on the file attached to post #3 and both worked.
