Allow users to edit range with there name

Hi everybody, I know there is a option under the review tab to allow users to a specific range but is it possible to use conditionnal range ?

as an example, Allow user to edit Column B if Column A has his name.

Employe: Bob

A1= Nic
A2= Marc
A3= Bob
A4= Bob

in this example Bob can edit only cell B3 and B4

I don't think what you're asking for is possible, at least to my knowledge, but perhaps adding a filter to the name column could be a quick solution to your problem.

I have a possible solution for you but its going to require the users login name to match the name in column A. if that is the case let me know and i can shed more detail but you could use something like this on workbook open.

Combine that with protecting and unprotecting the sheet and you should be good.
