Multiple Dependent Drop down lists to generate data

Does anyone know a way that I can get data to populate from multiple drop down list that are dependent on each other. Here is an example of what I am trying to do.

Drop down list
Fruit-->Apple, Banana, Orange
Vegetable--> Carrot, Potato

Data Set:
A B C
1 Food Group Food Type qty
2 Fruit Apple 1
3 Vegetable Carrot 3
4 Fruit Orange 1
5 Fruit Apple 3
6 Vegetable Potato 1


Now I need it to populate data from this list from a multiple dependent drop down list. The end result would look like this:

Fruit-->Apple -->qty

A B C
1 Food Group Food Type qty
2 Fruit Apple 1
3 Fruit Apple 3
4
