Hi is there any reason for an array to stop working. It was all working no problem and then I opened it on a computer whilst still open on another, it came up with read only but even tho I've closed both down the array formulae just doesn't work anymore???

If it was working before, and you didnt change anything, check to see if calcs are st to manual?
Is the formula still surrounded by {} if not, re-enter using CTRL SHIFT ENTER
If nothing changes, a formula wont just "decide" to not work any more.

Hi yea it's still got the curly brackets, I've checked the formulae against an older version of the doc which works and they're identical. I can't attach the doc as it's got confidential info. The only thing was I had another excel doc open that had a circular error, if that makes any difference.Originally Posted by FDibbins
The circ ref might make a diff if the files were all still open, but try closing excel and re-opening, see if that helps.

Hi Yea the're on automatic. So it works but only if it doesn't update the values that are linked to other worksheet. As soon as I update the values it changes from #NUM! to #N/A
aahh OK so what formulas are you using?
Some excel functions/links will only work on open workbooks
