Drawing bar chart on excel

Hi all,
I want to draw a bar chart on excel that compares 2 factors side by side. And I need each bar to be divided into colours to present the quantity of divisions.
As an example:

I want the 2 bares of quantities X and Y to be represented side by side on chart. X = A+B+C, Y = D+E+F. So I want my chart to have a column for X beside a column for Y. The X column is coloured to indicate the amount of A and B and C. Y is coloured to show D, E and F.

If I understand correctly you are looking for something similar to the column chart in the attached file. To make this chart I selected the stacked column chart option and then selected 'switch row/column'.

Yes exactly, but I need x and y to be side by side near each other.

From the Chart Tools tab > Layout sub tab > Current Selection pane > select Format Selection > Series Option > pull the Gap Width slider all the way to the left (No Gap) > select Close

No what I mean is that I want to make the columns clustered and stacked at the same time. How can I do that?
