    Pivot Table/Chart - sort by values

    I've got a big data set that I'd like to display in a chart with a little more detail. I want to show total dollar value for different purchases within different ranges. For example, let's say over the course of the quarter, I have three different types of purchases - paper, pens, pencils - that range from $0-$100 each. I'm not sure how to build the table to show this, and then the chart. I want a chart that shows those three categories of purchases with the different dollar ranges of each highlighted to show the different spend per purchase like so:

    As long as your data is in a normalised 2 dimensional table suitable for a Pivot Table then a Pivot Chart based on the PT would seem the obvious choice.

    As per your post #1 graph data record & attach file (post #3) does not match.
    As per your file, sorted on Amount.

    ...just realised that the chart is currently not limited to a particular year.

    Here's a modified version wherein you can pick the FY.
