Dynamic drop down list

Have been trying to create a dynamic drop down list. Any advice on where I can watch a "how to" demonstration?

How are YOU defining 'dynamic drop down'.

Do you perhaps mean a dependent drop down whose items will depend on a choice made elsewhere? Explain EXACTLY what you want to see and happen and no doubt we can help further.

Thanks for the quick response. At the moment I'm working off a drop down list created using simple data validation. However, the list has grown to 85 possible entries. I expect this list to grow so I want to be able to type a possible entry into to the cell that will look for all the possible entries that contain that word. Currently, I have to scroll up and down the list to find the category. But I want to type for example, Projects_, and have eight possible options appear. On the the other hand, if I type Projects_N I would expect only one to appear, namely Projects_Ncapture Again, thanks for following up.
