Heres a fun one for you on a monday morning!
I've designed a form to be used for incoming orders, which (bizarrely, for me) is working perfectly!
However, i now want to print the first sheet in the document as double sided A4 (order form to be folded as a letter and given with the other documents), then all the following sheets as one sided A5, x2 on a side of A4 (to be stuck on boxes).
I've obviously changed all the printer settings in page setup to do this, which worked, so i saved the doc and closed it down. The next time i came to use the form, it printed off using the printer's own default settings (double sided A4). I cannot just go into page setup every time and change the settings to 2 in 1 A5 because there is often 40+ sheets to change individually (I've tried selecting multiple sheets and because it's the printers own settings, not excel settings, it doesn't seem to stick for the other sheets), it'll take far too long. Has anyone encountered this before and found a way for excel to override a network printer settings? Or will i need to produce a macro of some kind to print it off?
I can change the network printer defaults and user preferences for the one computer that will be using the document, but neither are ideal because of issues wasting paper and still not solving the A5 part.
Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Josh
